This NABR webinar examines approaches your institution can take when it becomes the target of an animal rights campaign. Recent animal rights campaigns have included misleading and inaccurate reports, data mining of government information using FOIA, media attention, extensive use of social media, and protests. Effective responses to these types of campaigns are examined in detail and an analysis of institutional responses are presented. Specific topics that are addressed include:

• Communicating with the press and other stakeholders
• Materials you should have prepared prior to becoming a target
