Learn about the Importance of Using Mice in Research to Solve Addiction with The Jackson Laboratory
The Jackson Laboratory is hosting a staff briefing with Dr. Elissa Chesler titled “Understanding Addiction: What Can We Learn From the Laboratory Mouse?” The event will be host on Thursday, Dec. 9th at 4pm ET through Zoom.
Dr. Chesler will discuss “the essential role of mouse behavior and genetic research in the study of addiction, for greater understanding of the biological basis of addiction, the role of genetics, and the use of this information to discover new therapeutics.” More specifically, he will speak upon his research, which “focuses on the development of methods and resources for the integration of human and mouse genetic and genomic studies toward a greater understanding of human disease.”
