NABR’s sister organization the Foundation for Biomedical Research put out a fabulous PSA thanking veterinarians, vet techs, animal caretakers, and lab animals for their role in COVID-19 vaccine development. The efforts of all those involved in the process deserve our appreciation. Lifesaving vaccines and treatments were not possible without medical research with animals. It’s the least we can do to say thank you to all laboratory workers. The foundation educates and informs the public about the important role of animal models for therapeutics, drugs, and vaccines.
