SALDF – Young Lawyer’s Talk
On March 28, the Student Animal Legal Defense League held a panel discussion with new lawyers who are working to stop “cruel and unnecessary animal research” and more.  The event was held at the New York University School of Law.

Case Western University
On March 26, 2008, the Case Animal Rights and Ethics Society hosted an animal discussion that include an animal law professor, a bioethics professor, the chairman of Case Western’s animal care and use committee, and an animal rights activist.

New York City Bar Association
On March 5, 2008 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm the New York City Bar Association will host Animal Advocacy on the Local Level.  The meeting will consist of a panel of experts will speak on how to effectuate change at the local level stressing the areas the city council is not equipped to handle.

University of Southern Indiana
On January 29, 2008 at 7 p.m. in the Mitchell Auditorium the University of Southern Indiana had a presentation by Gary Yourofsky founder of Animals Deserve Absolute Protection Today and Tomorrow his presentation was entitled "Ethical Veganism."
