NABR Animal Law §ection - Non-Economic Damages

H.B. No. 648/S.B. 757 introduced in January 2005.
Authorizes non-economic damage awards up to $250,000. Punitive damages up to the same $250,000 would also be authorized. Both bills amend the definition of “health care provider” to include many additional medical practitioners, including veterinarians licensed in the state.
